Vicky is Vice President Marketing - Minerals for BHP Billiton where she leads a high performing, geographically diverse team of Engineering and Marketing professionals. Vicky is responsible for all sales, marketing, logistics and customer activities for iron ore, metallurgical coal, energy coal, copper, nickel, zinc and uranium across a global portfolio with annual revenue of more than US$30 bn.  Prior to this role, Vicky was the Vice President Marketing - Copper and Vice President Marketing - Coal. 

Zayaan Kahn - Founder and Vice-PResident

Zayaan is the founder of the Women in Mining and Resources Network, Singapore and the Marketing Strategy Manager for Rio Tinto Copper and Coal.
Prior to this role, Zayaan was the Principal Analyst for Rio Tinto Global Market Positioning team and Marketing Manager for Rio Tinto’s Pricing team based in Singapore, primarily responsible for the pricing of iron ore into the China market.

Andrea Cornwell - secretary

Andrea lead’s Vale’s Coal Marketing group, focusing on their global strategic marketing activities and the development of the large scale greenfield Moatize mine project in Mozambique. She has been in the coal industry for 23 years, as one of few women, in various sales and marketing, technical marketing, strategy and commercial capacities at BHP, Shell, and Anglo American, before joining Vale over 4 years ago.


Kirsty Keane - TREASURER

Kirsty is a member of Anglo Americans commercial strategy team responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy for Anglo’s portfolio of assets.   Prior to joining Anglo American in Singapore, Kirsty held marketing and sales positions with Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton in their respective metallurgical and thermal coal business units.  Kirsty was also a founding shareholder of a successful international mining services company, Salva Resources.  

Roman Matla

Roman is responsible for leading all diversity and inclusion efforts for BHP Billiton Marketing across the globe. Prior to this Roman has worked for Merril Lynch as a technology engineer supporting IT operations and CSFB in Hong Kong as VP & site technology infrastructure manager. In 2003 his career shifted from technology management to human capital management as VP and regional head of diversity & inclusion for Credit Suisse. 


Judyta Van Heukelem

Judyta overlooks day-to-day business of Inashco Singapore – a subsidiary of Inashco Group specializing in recovery of non-ferrous metals from the Incineration Bottom Ash (IBA). Before relocating to Singapore Judyta worked in an investment arm of Fondel –a metal trading and processing company focusing on supplying raw materials to the stainless steel industries.

Debbie Wilson

Debbie is responsible for strategy, enterprise architecture and emerging technologies, business process management, governance and portfolio management. Based in Singapore, she leads a team of approximately 120 people located across Rio Tinto regional office hubs in five continents. Prior to joining Rio Tinto, Debbie was the vice president and chief information officer at Tyco Security Solutions with five years of service in this role.

Robyn Dittrich

Robyn is a passionate, high energy industry professional, with over 20 years’ experience in senior leadership roles globally. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Robyn’s career has focused on the complex, challenging, male dominated and culturally diverse B2B environments across the Chemical, Mining, Manufacturing, IT and Oil & Energy sectors. Her current role as Asia VP, Sales for Platts, involves leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver financial performance, sales strategies and business operations for the Platts businesses across Asia.

Chris Graham

Chris leads Wood Mackenzie’s integrated energy demand, pricing and markets research in Asia Pacific. He joined WoodMac in 2008 covering the Middle East upstream sector before relocating to Perth to take over as Head of Australasia oil and gas research in 2012. Now based in Singapore, Chris’ regional teams analyse the complexities of supply and demand fundamentals both at a regional and global level, in order to forecast short, medium, and long-term commodity prices across the energy and mining sectors.

Naaila Francis

Naaila is Marketing Manager of Asia Pacific (APAC), South East Asia and International trade Accounts for both Thermal andCoking Coal for South32. Responsible for market development of SEA and relationship management of key steel mills in Japan and Korea, Naaila has 5 years' experience in the Coal Industry which has included running the Thermal Coal books for the Mount Arthur Coal Mine and the South African Coal mine in BHP Billiton. 


Jessica Chu

Jessica is co-head of base metals marketing for South-East Asia at Glencore Singapore Pte Ltd. Since joining in 2010, Jessica has covered various sectors relating to the metals & mining industry in the ASEAN region and been responsible for developing Glencore’s regional copper and zinc metal marketing business in particular. She holds a double degree in Finance & Marketing from the National University of Singapore Business School / University Of Southern California Marshall Business School

Joleen Goh

Joleen is a Senior Trader in Cargill's Iron Ore Trading business. Having worked in Cargill for the past 9 years, Joleen started in Cargill's Petroleum business where she worked in the Analytics and Business Development functions before moving into a Trading role in Iron Ore in 2011. Joleen graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and is currently based in Singapore with her husband, Eric and son Zachary.
