Michiel Hovers has been BHP’s Group Sales and Marketing Officer since July 2019. He has global accountabilities for BHP sales and marketing activities. Michiel started his career at BHP in The Hague in 2003 as Trading Manager, Energy Coal, European Gas and Emissions. He has held numerous roles throughout his 20-year career at BHP including GM Marketing Nickel, VP Marketing Uranium, and VP Marketing Iron Ore.
Michiel is an Executive Sponsor of Jasper, BHP’s pride network whose purpose is to help LGBT+ employees and contractors feel safe, included and supported at BHP.
Ching is Vice President of S&P Global Commodity Insights. She is responsible for all commercial activities in Asia Pacific (APAC) including sales and new business development strategies, global commercial relationships with APAC’s largest and most strategic customers, as well as business strategies in the region’s developed and emerging markets. Beyond APAC, Ching is additionally responsible for Global New Business development across North America and EMEA.
Ching is a board member of S&P Global Asian Holdings, Chair of the S&P Global Commodity Insights APAC leadership team and Executive Sponsor for WIMARSG at S&P Global.
